Rigorous engineering, zero hype

Electronics, software and technical support. One partner.

MadTech is an engineering studio that holds hardware and software together. Founded by an electronic engineer and a product manager, it builds integrated solutions measured against two things only: whether the process is feasible and whether the investment pays back.

A pragmatic approach: working features, clean code and accurate data matter more than whatever is trending this quarter.

What we do

Seven areas of work, two disciplines that complete each other: the person designing the hardware and the person writing the software sit in the same studio.

Electronic and PCB design

Schematics, PCB layout, simulation, bill of materials, prototyping and testing. From concept to a production-ready design, with engineering rigour.

PCBMCUSensorsPowerDFM

Software and web app development

Custom web apps, business systems, dashboards, APIs, integrations and firmware. Clean code, from the first prototype to the system in production.

Smartphone and PC repair

Diagnosis, component replacement, data recovery and upgrades on iPhone, Android, laptops and desktops.

Free diagnosis — you pay only if we fix it.

IT setup and support

Workstation and network setup, installations, security, backup and data migration. Remote or on-site.

Residential electrical systems

Lighting points, sockets, wiring prepared for home automation and routine maintenance in residential settings.

Custom hardware + software solutions

Connected devices, IoT prototypes, automation and integration between existing machines and web systems. Turnkey projects where the two disciplines merge.

AI in everyday business routines

We build artificial intelligence into the processes your company repeats every day: documents and orders, checks, data entry, customer replies. Repetitive and delicate steps become faster and safer — fewer manual errors, full traceability and human oversight where it counts. How we work on process automation.

Systems running in production today

Four real projects our clients use every day to get their work done.

RetailIn production

Point of sale with fiscal printer

Till software for a retail shop: counter sales with barcode scanning, receipts on a certified fiscal printer, stock updated automatically, end-of-day closing and a live sales dashboard.

How we work

Four phases, no surprises

Phase 01

Listening

A call or a message. We work out the real problem, not just the literal request.

Phase 02

Proposal

A clear quote with scope, timing and deliverables. No surprises on the invoice.

Phase 03

Execution

Development, prototype or intervention, with shared checkpoints and regular updates.

Phase 04

Handover

Testing, essential documentation and agreed post-delivery support.

Frequently asked questions

What people always ask us

How much does a quote cost?

Nothing. The initial analysis and the quote are free, and we reply within one working day. For repairs the diagnosis is free and you pay only if we fix the device.

Do you work outside your two cities?

Yes. Analysis, development and support are done remotely; work on plants, machines and workstations is agreed on site. Rome and Catania are the two operating bases.

How long does a software project take?

A well-bounded workflow reaches production in two to six weeks. Larger projects are delivered in pieces: the first useful piece arrives early, the rest follows with shared checkpoints.

Do the code and the data stay ours?

Yes. Your data is yours and exportable in an open format, service credentials are registered to your company, and custom-written code is accessible to you. We put it in writing in the quote.

Do we have to replace our management software?

Almost never. In most cases we work around the system you already have, reading and writing data through APIs, scheduled exports or the database.

Do you repair smartphones and computers too?

Yes: diagnosis, component replacement, data recovery and upgrades on iPhone, Android, laptops and desktops. The diagnosis is free.

Which languages do you work in?

Italian, English, Spanish and Albanian. Analysis, documentation and support can be delivered in any of these four languages.

Automation

Where you actually start

The three requirements that make a process automatable, the four measurements to take first, and the cases where automating is the wrong call.

Costs

What it costs and when it pays back

Development, running costs, maintenance and the cost of change: the calculation method with a worked example and the assumptions spelled out.
